How to Join

Joining FUSSI is easy, painless, and you don't need to have a beard.

All you need is to pay a membership fee (see details below) and for this you get a copy of the Australian Speleological Federation (ASF) newsletter as well as the FUSSI newsletter, and (most importantly) you can get access to many caves in Australia which are off-limits to most people.

Membership fees

Membership fees consist of annual FUSSI and ASF membership fees.

FUSSI membership is $20.

ASF membership is one of the following:

	Single/full	$68
	Student	$61
	Family	$121.50
	Introductory (for 3 months)	$20

For example, if you are a new member and would like to take advantage of the 3 month introductory membership then your joining fee will be ($20 + $20 =) $40. If you later decide to continue your membership after the 3 months then you will need to pay the pro-rata component of the ASF fee till the end of the calendar year.

If you are an existing member - or would like to pay for the whole year - and you are a student then the joining fee is ($61 + $20 =) $81.

Please note that payment of membership is required prior to commencing any trip - this is to ensure public liability insurance cover.

If you decide to join we will provide you with bank account details so you can transfer the membership fee via bank transfer.
